You may now pay your tournament fees online, either by credit card or by using your PayPal account. Your fees will be credited directly to the Road-Dawgs account and our treasurer and tournament chair will be notified via email that your fees have been paid. To pay your fees, click the <paynow> button that appears next to a tournament or membership link. You will be taken directly to a secure page that will allow you to enter either your credit card number or PayPal account details. The correct amount will automatically appear on the page. Do not alter it!

What is PayPal?

PayPal is a service that acts as a proxy between two parties wishing to transfer funds. They can accept a credit card from one party, charge it, and transfer funds to the second party. This way the second party does not require a merchant account in order to accept credit cards. They can also do direct funds transfers from one bank account to another if you choose. They charge us a small transaction fee as well as a percentage of the amount charged, similar to what a merchant bank would charge a vendor.

Is my credit card secure?

We are using EBay's PayPal service to perform this task. They perform millions of transactions per day. They use their secure web site to transmit your information and are as secure (or more so) than any other commercial web site. The transaction is performed entirely on the PayPal web site, the Road Dawgs will never have access to your credit card number.

How do i know if my payment has been received?

You will receive a confirmation email from PayPal with the amount and the party you paid.

What about refunds?

Refunds (when allowed) will be credited to your PayPal account or paid out of Road-Dawgs' funds by check. These should be rare! Do not commit to a tournament unless you are sure you can participate.

How will the charge appear on my statement?
